My printer won't scan to my computer.  Error message "No computer found"  Message says "Make sure scanning to a computer is turnoned on.  Windows: Open the HP printer software, select 'Scanner Actions' then select 'Manage scan to computer' ..."  I don't know where to find the HP printer software though!  Can anyone help please?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Here are some troubleshooting tools you can use:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-4630-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5305049/model/5305...

I would try the Print and Scan Doctor, first.

Good Luck

I have a Office jet Pro 8600 Premium and its connected to my home network. I have no problems printing from my Mac Pro or my iphone to the device, but when I attempt to scan from the printer to my computer, it says "no computer found". I go to the HP Utility and select Scan to Computer and Enable Scan to Computer...but it responds "Communication Error...unable to connect with device..."

I have always been able to do so but now it does not work?

I have tried restarting the devices and checked for new firmware (its current).

can somone help with this...thank you !

I have HP Officjet Pro 8620.  I have run the scan doctor every day to try to scan to a pdf.  If I try to scan from the printer panel, I get the message that no computer found, but if I go to my conrol panel it is there and showing installed.  Its like I get it fixed and it disappears again.  Suggestions?
