I am looking for printer software for my hp envy photo 6230 for my mac catalina 10.15.7. all the. downloads I  try start at os 12. Can anyone help please.

Try to install with HP Easy Start for Mac:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

I understand that you would like to get a Software for Mac as the Operating System is Catalina.

 

Please be informed that if the drivers are not available for your Printer I would request you to please Universal Printer Driver.: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-universal-print-driver-series-for-windows/4157320.

 

I would request you to please follow the below steps to update it.

 

Visit HP Support: 

  • Go to HP Customer Support – Software and Driver Downloads.

Enter Printer Model: 

  • Type HP Envy Photo 6230 in the search box and select it.

Choose OS: 

  • If auto‑detection doesn’t show Catalina, manually select macOS 10.15.

Download Software: 

  • Look for HP Easy Start (or full driver package if listed). Click Download.

Install: 

  • Open the downloaded file, follow on‑screen instructions, and connect your printer via USB or Wi‑Fi during setup.

Complete Setup: 

  • Finish installation, then test printing and scanning.

Install the Driver:

  • Open the downloaded file to launch the driver installer.
  • Follow on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
  • During installation, ensure your printer is powered on and connected to your Mac via USB or wirelessly.
