Hi @mnaespino,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer is freezing on the logo screen, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Disconnect the printer’s power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer and the outlet.
- Turn the printer on and see if it moves past the logo screen.
Try a Partial Reset
- Disconnect the printer's power cord.
- While holding down the power button, reconnect the power cord, and keep holding the power button for 15 seconds before releasing it.
- This can sometimes clear any temporary issues with the printer’s hardware.
Check for Hardware Malfunctions
- Remove any connected USB devices, memory cards, or paper trays to rule out any potential interference.
- Power the printer back on and check if it goes past the logo screen.
Firmware Update (if you can access settings)
- If the printer manages to turn on normally after the reset, update its firmware through the HP Smart App or the printer's settings to avoid similar issues in the future.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
