HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series-Windows 10 64 bit-
While trying to re-connect to the internet via Wi-Fi, instructions said to restart printer. The printer front panel states Printing test page but it never does. I need to know how to get my printer back so it will scan and print.

Hi @BenK3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing connectivity issues. I'd like to help!
Let's try to reset the Printer here:
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Hello Elohi_NR,
Thanks for responding. All of your suggestions were previously tried with the same issue. After a week of trying all kinds of things including reinstalling the printer with firmware and driver updates, I called HP directly. The technician worked with me for over an hour and finally suggested I get a new printer, which I did. My old printer just gave up and got stuck in the mud. I had to shoot it and let go. Is there anywhere I can find out the duty cycle of various HP printers? My OfficeJet Pro 9515 series did not last three years and I never did receive an ink resupply from HP, even though I was subscribed to their Insta-ink replacement program.

Check your printer
The first step in troubleshooting your printer problems is the ensure that the printer itself is working correctly.
If you run into any hardware issues while checking your printer, you will need to consult your printer manual or contact the printer manufacturer for assistance.
Printer cables
Verify the printer cables are correctly plugged into the printer and PC.
Rather than just confirming the plugs are connected, it is best practice to unplug and re-plug the printer cables to make sure they are deeply seated in the correct ports.
Ensure Printer is "Ready"
Verify the printer is powered on and ready to print.
Depending on your printer model it may display "Ready" on the LED panel, or a green light if there is no LED panel. You may need to power off, and then power the printer back on to return to the ready state. If your printer boots directly into an error message, then consult your printer manual or contact the printer manufacturer for assistance removing the error before continuing with this article.
Calibrate your printer
Verify the printer feeds only one label to the correct position.
Press the feed button on the printer and note how many labels feed out, and where the label stops each time. Repeat the process 3-5 times (feeding one label may not accurately display whether it is properly calibrated). If one label does not feed out to the correct position each time, then consult your printer manual or contact the printer manufacturer for assistance on how to calibrate your printer.
Regards,
Will

Thank You for your post Wil,
Fortunately or unfortunately I have done all the things you suggested. The printer does not go beyond a certain step when reset. HP support spent over an hour with me troubleshooting my issue. Result: New printer on order. Thanks again for your response.
