Hi,
I have the HP photosmart plus b209 that I haven't used in years. And I would like to know, what is that I need to do to update the software? Then, to connect it to my android tablet and phone to print wirelessly. Does the update need to be done 1st before connecting wirelessly? The last Windows version used was Windows 8. Does the update need to be done using a computer? Can I change the printer network to my personal network once the update is complete? Please let me know!
Thanks

@TDMF, Welcome to HP Support Community!
First, connect the printer to the network and then update the printer.
Here is the document Connect to a Wireless HP Printer that will help you connect the device to the network. Now, with regards to updating the printer, refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
