Hi @NinaSimaan,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are printer will print the information page but not any other documents

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue with your HP ENVY 6458e printer:

Check Printer Status and Connectivity:

  • Ensure the printer is connected to your computer and network properly.
  • Verify that the printer is not set to "Offline" mode. Go to "Printers & scanners" in Windows settings and check the status of your printer.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to HP’s website and download the latest drivers for the ENVY 6458e model.
  • Install the drivers and see if this resolves the issue.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Go to "Printers & scanners" in Windows settings.
  • Click on your HP ENVY 6458e printer, then click "Open queue."
  • Clear any pending print jobs.

Check Print Settings:

  • Ensure that you have selected the correct printer and that there are no incorrect settings applied.
  • Verify the paper size, type, and other settings match what you are trying to print.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP’s website. This tool can automatically diagnose and fix common printing issues.

Check for Firmware Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Visit HP’s support website to see if there are any firmware updates available for your printer.

Check Ink and Paper:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and that there is enough ink.
  • Make sure there is paper in the tray and that it is loaded correctly.
