Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

Hi, I've read the other posts with similar problems and tried a hard reset but it hasn't worked. My Printer is a HP Envy 3507. I admit I have looked after it well and it has lasted a long time. I tried to fit a new Black 301xl cartridge (£49!) but the printer won't accept it. I've always used 301 but I now notice on the box that it says it's for HP Envy 4500, 5530 series - does this mean my printer isn't compatible anymore?

Hello @Clare61,

Ink cartridges for the HP Envy 3507 printer no longer exist.

I looked for the equivalence: Non-existent. Sorry.

Sincerely,

Bernard42.

Thanks Elohi, no I haven't made any changes to hardware or software, nor moved to a different area. I followed all the troubleshooting steps advised previously on this forum, to no avail. I ended up taking the cartridge back to the shop and swapping it for the old style, non XL, ink. This worked perfectly well when I installed it. Thank you for your help. I won't be buying an XL cartridge again.

Merci Bernard.

Hello @Clare61,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you found compatible ink cartridges.‌‌

But no more XL cartridges accepted, this is a sign of the gradual disappearance of 301 ink cartridges.

The replacement printer is not far away. Finally, as long as you find 301s, it’s OK.

Good evening,
