Hi all! Just bought a new MacBook Air and now my printer (Deskjet 3845) doesn't connect properly. When I click on PRINT, the icon shows up for an instant at the dock but then it disappears and nothing gets printed.... Anyone can help? Thank you!

@CARIOCA22, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I See that you are not able to print from the Mac. This is an end-of-life printer. Support options are limited.
Due to its age, there are no drivers available for this printer to work on macOS 10.7 or later on the HP Support site.
This printer is not AirPrint compatible too.
However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
P.S: You may follow the steps mentioned in this thread by a Community Expert.

Thank you! I will give that a try but it seems that my printer is not on those lists... It was working perfectly with my old computer and Mac OS Mojave.... But now with the new computer and Mac OS Monterey.... No luck...
