I've unplugged and reset the computer and printer. Still says Printer Cannot Print. I have changed all depleted cartridges with HP as usual and still won't print a doc

Hi @Jude621,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e still won't print after replacing the cartridges and resetting both the printer and computer, here are a few additional troubleshooting steps to try:

Check Printer Status and Queue:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e and click on Open queue. Ensure there are no pending or stuck print jobs.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • It can diagnose and fix many common printing issues automatically.

Ensure the Printer is Set as Default:

  • In Printers & scanners, ensure your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e is set as the default printer.

Check for Updates: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. Go to the HP website or use the HP Smart app to check for updates.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the printer from Printers & scanners.
  • Download the latest drivers from the HP Support website and reinstall them.

Check Ink Cartridges and Printhead:

  • Even though you’ve replaced the cartridges, double-check that they are installed correctly and that the protective tape has been removed.
  • Clean the printhead if necessary. Instructions can usually be found in the printer's manual or on HP's support site.

Network Issues:

  • If you're using a wireless connection, ensure the printer is connected to the correct network.
  • Restart your router and reconnect the printer to the network if needed.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Ensure the printer is not set to Offline mode. You can usually check this in the printer's settings menu or the HP Smart app.

Refer to this document: HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Printer User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
