Recently we were printing some pay stubs and once they all printed, the printer continued to print the same job over and over again. We had to shut it off and keep canceling the job on the printer in order to get it to stop. Tried restarting it, tried leaving it off overnight, tried resetting it to default printer settings, tried canceling all jobs online and on the printer app. Nothing has worked. This has gone on for two days now. On the computer there are "0" documents/jobs pending to print so it's clearly a printer problem.
Any suggestions on a total reset or how to clear the memory on the printer? Like I said we already tried resetting to default and that didn't work so I'm not sure if there is anything else we can do. All suggestions are welcome!

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I think you need to remove the queue. For Windows, please try:
hold down the Windows key and press R.
from the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
if the machine asks for Admin you have to accept this,
look down to the print spooler service, right click it and select properties
click on the Stop button,
browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers (this may be hidden)
delete the job inside this folder
reboot the machine
Regards.
