Hi @Barkiss,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer's connectivity!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC and mobile devices.
  2. Verify that your Wi-Fi router is functioning correctly and that there is a stable internet connection.

Restart Devices

  1. Restart your printer by turning it off and then turning it back on.
  2. Restart your PC and mobile devices to clear any temporary glitches.

Update Printer Firmware

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

Reinstall Printer Software

  1. On your PC, go to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Remove your HP Smart Tank 7005 printer.
  3. Download the latest printer software from the HP Support website.
  4. Follow the instructions to install the software and add your printer.

Use HP Smart App

  1. On your mobile device, download and install the HP Smart App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and follow the instructions to add your printer.
  3. Ensure that your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer.

Check Network Settings

  1. Ensure that the printer is connected to a 2.4 GHz network if your router supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).
  2. Some printers and devices may experience connectivity issues with 5 GHz networks.

Assign a Static IP Address

  1. On your printer's control panel, access Network Settings.
  2. Locate the IP Address configuration.
  3. Assign a static IP address to the printer to prevent IP address conflicts.

I hope this helps.
