I understand that you would like to change the printer's name.
When you install a new printer, Windows typically names it after the manufacturer or model. You can rename by following the below given steps:
- Press Windows key and type Devices and Printers in search box and hit enter.
- Right-click a printer that need to renamed, and then click Printer properties.
- Click the General tab, and then type the new name in the text box.
Or you can change the printer using the printer EWS page.
