The configuration of my printer is lost every time I power-on. It looses the network password as well as the date and time. This is a new occurrence. My laptop is configured by company and no changes have been done on this. All the users on my home network also are not able to access the printer as the network configuration is lost.

Yes, the printing functions work when connecting the printer with the USB. For WiFi printing, I need to reconnect the printer to the network each time I power on.
all documents scanned are with random dates.

Press the green button on CP1025nw and check the right top side of first page there's IP Address like aaa.bbb.xxx.yyy (like 192.168.0.234 )
From computer open a browser and key-in the IP Address to get into CP1025nw and change the IP from DHCP (BootTP) into static if it's not static(manual).
Open CP1025nw's printer driver and change the connect port with the same IP.
With the static IP in CP1025 it won't be changed every time when your power on printer.
Hope it helps.

I got the IP address but it does not go there when i tried with Chrome or Edge. When i setup the network each time, I can access the printer and print from it. The problem is that it does not retain this setup.
Also any files which I scan from the scanner comes with a random date and time.
Even the date and time stays as long as it is powered on but has to be reset each time i power on.
My note book is connected with a USB cable to this printer and it has no problem printing since this is not over WIFI.
Appreciate all your suggestions and hope can make this work.

Are you complely unplugging the device when not using it? I ask because it sounds like the battery backup on the system board has failed.
