Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 All-in-One Printer

I am working with Mac OS Sonoma 14,5 not available in HP's pull down menu.  The HP Smart app and the drivers are updated as of today.  

 

Since recent OS upgrade (I think), I have been having problem to print with many PDF files.   Not all but many.

 

When sending the print job, the printer makes a sound and resume without printing.   I think it is a PDF specification that is the problem.  The reason I say this is because if I take a screen capture of the file, I am able to print it without problem.  Even saving the file again under a new name does not fix the problem
