Hi @Andrewv98,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw is printing a blank page between every printed page, the issue might be related to a configuration setting or the document itself. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:
1. Check Printer Settings
- Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Ensure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
- Find the printer's IP address from the printer control panel.
- Enter the IP address in a web browser to access the EWS.
- Look for Separator Page Settings:
- Navigate to the settings or configuration section.
- Check for any "Separator Page," "Cover Page," or similar options. Disable them if found.
- Check Duplex Printing:
- Ensure duplex printing settings (double-sided) are properly configured. Incorrect duplex settings might cause blank pages.
2. Check Print Driver Settings
- Open the Print Queue:
- On your computer, go to "Devices and Printers" or "Printers & Scanners."
- Right-click your printer and select "Printer Preferences."
- Review all settings:
- Look for any "Page Separator" or "Insert Blank Page" options and disable them.
- Ensure the correct paper size is selected (e.g., A4 or Letter).
3. Verify Document Settings
- Open the document you're printing.
- Check for hidden blank pages in the file.
- Preview the print job to ensure no blank pages are included.
4. Update Printer Firmware and Drivers
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest firmware and drivers for your printer model.
- Install the updates to ensure compatibility and fix potential bugs.
5. Perform a Printer Reset
- Soft Reset:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for 2-3 minutes.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restore Factory Defaults:
- From the printer control panel, navigate to Setup > Service > Restore Defaults to reset the printer.
6. Test the Printer
- Print a test document (e.g., a single-page file) to check if the issue persists.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
