Good time of day. I usually used the HP Deskjet 3520 series application for printing, but recently it stopped opening. I thought it wasn't a big problem, but yesterday I couldn't print a document from the microsoft world 2019 application. I removed the printer from the devices, installed the drivers, and deleted it. Literally nothing helps. At the same time, the troubleshooting program can print a test sheet. But when you try to print a document (in docx or pdf format), the files simply queue up. Please tell me how to solve this.

Hi @Antonio5551
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having a frustrating time with your HP Deskjet 3520. Here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the printing issue:
Check the Print Queue:
- Open the print queue by going to Devices and Printers (you can search for this in the Start menu).
- Right-click on your printer and select See what's printing. If there are stuck print jobs, right-click on them and select Cancel.
Reset the Print Spooler:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler in the list, right-click it, and select Restart. This can clear any issues with the print spooler service.
Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can automatically diagnose and fix printing problems.
Reinstall the Printer:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Remove the printer from the list.
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall the printer using the latest drivers from the HP website.
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure that the printer is set as the default printer. Right-click your printer in the Devices and Printers window and select Set as default printer.
Update Microsoft Office:
- Make sure your Microsoft Office applications are up to date. Sometimes, an update can resolve compatibility issues.
Print from Different Applications:
- Try printing from another application (like Notepad or another PDF reader) to see if the issue is specific to Microsoft Word or PDF files.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated, as sometimes updates can fix driver issues.
Disable VPN or Firewall Temporarily:
- If you're using a VPN or have a firewall enabled, try disabling it temporarily to see if it affects printing.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
