Recurring message - printing failed - check printer and try again.

I uninstalled and reinstalled printer now shows (Copy 1)

Defaulted to WSD Port so I changed to Standard TCP/IP Port

Restored defaults on printer

Computer is less than a year old and printer was working until I received "printer offline" messages.  

Plugged, unplugged - closed and restarted numerous times.

HP smart diagnose & fix does not work - message "no issues found".  Still get printing failed message when I try to print.  I think it may have something to do with the printer name change to Copy 1 when I uninstalled and reinstalled printer.

Solutions given here are not working.  SOMEONE HERE SHOULD BE ABLE TO TROUBLESHOOT.  Please do not send me the same solution because it is not working.  HP SMART IS NOT THAT SMART!
