Hi @Emma-353,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e is connected via HP Smart to Wi-Fi but has suddenly stopped printing, here’s a step-by-step checklist to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Status in HP Smart

  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Make sure the printer shows as "Ready" or "Connected".
    • If it shows “Offline” or “Not Connected”, tap the alert and follow the prompts to reconnect it.

2. Restart Everything

  • Power off your printer.
  • Restart your router (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug back in).
  • Restart your computer or mobile device.
  • Turn the printer back on and wait until it reconnects to Wi-Fi.

3. Check for Print Queue Issues

  • On Windows: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, click your printer, and select Open print queue.
    • Cancel or remove stuck print jobs.
  • On Mac: System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, then right-click the printer and select Reset printing system if needed.

4. Update Firmware

  • In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Printer Updates.
  • If there's an update, install it.

5. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows)

  • Download from HP Support.
  • It can automatically detect and fix connection and driver issues.

6. Reinstall the Printer

If the above doesn’t help:

  • Remove the printer from HP Smart and Windows Settings.
  • Re-add it using Wi-Fi setup or HP Smart’s “Set Up New Printer”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
