HP Officejet 6500 Wireless

I just got my first iPAD (10th Generation) Wi-Fi 256GB and would really like to be able to use my printer/scanner/fax instead of having to buy a new one but not sure how to set anything up. The printer is maybe 10-15 years old but never really used. It is a HP Officejet 6500 Wireless. HOPEFULLY I can do this with some guidance. Thanks for any help. Nitro

             Hello _Nitro-711,

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

This is a great place to get support, find answers to your technical queries.

I understand that you getting an error while printing, need not worry I'll be glad to assist you.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you tried making any changes in the print settings?

How long are you facing this issue?

Could you please help me with the exact product name?

I see the printer is working fine from the other laptop, I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the app.

Then, using this link:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-envy-4520-all-in-one-printer-series/5447920/document/c029191...and update the firmware.

Once done, restart the printer and Make sure the iPad updated.

Try to print.
