HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe Printer

Hi

I initially set up this printer with a USB cable and first print went fine. But I was then told that I needed to set it up properly using HP+ which involved unplugging the USB connection, removing the printer from Settings and downloading updated software (finding the product code was an experience in itself). Everything seems OK now with the "app" but I want to print from Word I don't have a printer to choose from.

I have never come across anything so complicated and I have been working with computers for nearly 40 years. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can print from my Microsoft applications, please?

Regards

Phil Brewer

Please ignore the request... I reinserted the USB cable and the printer installed itself in Settings!

I don't know why it didn't do that in the first place and why it was so complicated. I have bought HP products for years (desktops, laptops and printers) but this experience has made me think again.
