Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Print Delays on HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Printing delays on your HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer can occur due to various reasons including connectivity issues, software conflicts, or printer settings. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check for Error Messages

  • Printer Display: Check the printer display for any error messages and resolve them by following the onscreen instructions.

2. Verify Printer Connectivity

  • USB Connection: If connected via USB cable, disconnect and reconnect the cable.
  • Wireless Connection: Ensure your wireless connection is active and the printer is properly connected to the network.

3. Ensure the Printer is Not Paused or Offline

  • Windows Settings:
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Click on Devices and Printers.
    • Select your printer and open the print queue.
    • On the Printer menu, make sure there are no check marks next to Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline.

4. Set the Printer as Default

  • Default Printer Settings:
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Click on Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click your printer and select Set as Default Printer.

5. Restart the Print Spooler

  • Windows Services:
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Go to System and Security.
    • Click on Administrative Tools, then double-click Services.
    • Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Properties.
    • Ensure the Startup type is set to Automatic.
    • If the service is not running, click Start under Service status.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
