after changing the cartridge, the printer started printing in the middle of the page

I completely understand how  it must feel when your printer starts behaving unexpectedly right after you’ve replaced the cartridge. 

 

Could you please share the printer model number with me?  Also, let me know if the issue happens with every print job or only certain documents.

 

Here are a few  steps you can try in the meantime:

 

  1. Check paper settings: Make sure the paper size and type selected in the printer driver match the paper loaded in the tray.
  2. Align cartridges: Most HP printers have an option in the software or on the control panel to align cartridges after replacement. This ensures proper positioning.
  3. Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and restart.
  4. Update drivers: Outdated drivers can sometimes cause formatting issues with the help of the link : https://support.hp.com/ .
