HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to print Word.docx invitation on 5x7 card stock with OfficeJet Pro 6978. Document set for 5x7 paper size. Margins set to center text in middle of paper. Paper bin guide rails set to center feed card stock. No matter what top margin is set to, landscape or portrait orientation, it starts printing at approximately 0.25 inches from top.

What do I change to print in center of paper vertically?

@mac-n-co, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that the margin on the printout is off. Are you using the HP Smart app to print?

Have you tried printing from any other application like Excel, PDF, or email and check if the issue persists?

Check the print settings, refer to - HP print settings guide

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
