Can somebody explain to me why after installation which, according to the message after said installation was completed and the printer was now ready for use, I still can't print from PC but can print from my Ipad and Iphone.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Did you install any software on the computer?  If not, can you install HP Smart app from Microsoft Store and then add the printer?

Hi thanks for you reply. I had already tried re installing from HPSmart. I tried using the print and scan doctor program went through the diagnostics found and fixed some problems the printer then worked. Tried printing this morning no luck the printer queue says document is printing. Ran the print a scan and doctor again fixed the same problems and printer now works.

We'll suggest that you try the HP FULL software solution .  Download an offline copy an install.

Hi! I think there is a driver problem after installing the latest Window 10 update (20h2). My M283cdw printer was working fine and after the update the computer start presenting the message "driver not installed". I reinstalled the software and wasn't able to fix the problem. Is there a fix for this?
