I have the office jet HP8015e All in one printer. The instant ink subscription does not desirable in my situation. There are many months I don't print and am charged the monthly fee. Then if I'm scheduled to teach a class for 6 weeks - all of a sudden my monthly price goes waas up.
I just want to buy my own ink and not have a subscription.
The printer states (now that my account is cancled) that I need to connect to an HP account. I'm older and just want to print like a regular printer where I buy my own ink
Thanks, KDavis3636

Hi @KDavis3636,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I sI see that you are looking for information on how to cancel the instant ink service.
HP Instant Ink is based on pages, not cartridges. Your monthly fee allows you to use our subscription cartridges to print your plan pages and includes ink or toner, delivery and recycling.
If you cancel the Service, even if the Subscription Cartridges provided with your subscription are not empty, they will stop working in your printer and you will have to replace all of them with standard cartridges.
If you are not able to print even after replacing HP genuine ink cartridges, please stop Web Services on the printer.
HP Instant Ink > How to > Instant Ink > Manage Account > Turning Off Web Services
Optional - be sure Web Services is "off":
After you switch off Web Services, wait a minute and then switch off the printer.
Wait until the printer is completely shut down > wait a minute or two.
Switch on the printer.
