Hi @MaureenLP,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is only printing half of the music sheet vertically, it’s likely due to a page scaling or paper size setting in the print dialog or the software you're using. Here’s how to fix it:

Steps to Make the Music Sheet Print Full Width

1. Check Page Size and Orientation

  • In your music notation or PDF viewer software:
    • Go to File > Print.
    • Ensure Paper Size is set to A4 or Letter, depending on your paper.
    • Set Orientation to Portrait or Landscape as needed.

2. Adjust Scaling or Fit to Page

  • In the print dialog:
    • Look for options like “Fit to Page”“Scale to Fit”, or “Shrink Oversized Pages”.
    • Select “Fit” or “Scale to 100%” to ensure the full width is printed.

3. Use Print Preview

  • Always click Print Preview to check how the sheet will appear.
  • If it still looks cut off, try exporting the music sheet as a PDF and printing from a PDF viewer like Adobe Acrobat Reader.

4. Check Printer Settings

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your printer > Printing Preferences.
  • Make sure the paper sizeprint quality, and scaling are correctly set.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
