Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8134e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I recently changed my ancient HP Printer for a newer model - Pro 8134e. 

 

This thing is less advanced than my earlier one. It doesn't recognise what size paper I've put in - or if it does, it complains it's not what the settings say.

 

Regularly, Print Preview doesn't work and I have to shut it down and restart it. THEN it seems to remember what it's actually there for - to be a PRINTER. Not some nonce of a peripheral that gets to decide if it can be bothered.

 

What the devil is WRONG with this thing ? I feel like dumping HP altogether and finding a different supplier. Turns out even the 'top loader' that's included is only for scanning, not printing. What a joke.

 

Running up to date Windows 11 with no issues on a PC that's 6 months old.
