Product: Laserjet CP1025NM
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I try to install Full Feature Software and Driver. The printer is 5 years old but I have a new desktop with win10.

The installation run OK but I can't open the sw. Heard there could be an issue with admin privileges.

Any ideas?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you getting any error message or code while installing the driver?
  • Is this first-time setup?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

Add a Local Printer in Windows 10:

  1. Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable and turn it on.
  2. Open the Settings app from the Start menu.
  3. Click Devices.
  4. Click Add a printer or scanner.
  5. If Windows detects your printer, click on the name of the printer and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.
