Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Printer update 20.80.3.9568 keeps failing with an error code 0x800f020b when running the Windows Update program on Windows 10.  I ran the Windows Update troubleshooter, and it did not fix the problem.   My HP Smart app says I have the latest firmware for my printer.   The wireless connectivity to my printer seems to be working fine, I have no problems printing.  Any help is appreciated.

I've had the same problem as everyone else and my laptop has been pretty much useless for weeks.

Then I came across this article https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/install-error-0x800f020b-hp-printer-208039568/....

I tried to click to download but didn't work so I googled and downloaded from https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-show-windows-updates-windows-10-a.html.

Then in order to hide the HP update, I followed instructions on https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-show-windows-updates-windows-10-a.html.

Now my laptop says it's up to date and I can finally use it again. It may not be a complete solution but hiding the update is one way of going around the problem.
