Hi @Steve2123,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering an issue related to your HP account that is affecting your ability to print. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem.

Sign Out and Sign Back In:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Sign out of your HP account, then sign back in with your credentials. This can sometimes fix minor account-related issues.

Check Your HP Account:

  • Log in to your HP account on the HP website (https://www.hp.com).
  • Check if there are any account issues, such as a verification request or billing problem.

Restart the Printer and Devices:

  • Turn off your HP printer and unplug it for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device to refresh the connection.

Check Printer's Connection:

  • If your printer is connected to the internet, ensure that the Wi-Fi connection is stable. A connection issue could trigger this error.

Reinstall the HP Smart App:

  • If you're using the HP Smart app, uninstall and reinstall it to ensure you have the latest version.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • If your printer is connected to the internet, check for firmware updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s web interface.

Verify Your Subscription:

  • If you're using an HP Instant Ink or other subscription service, check your account status to ensure that your subscription is active.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
