@Patrick10111, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're trying to find the Wi-Fi Direct password or the printer's embedded web server (EWS) password for your HP ENVY 4520, here are the steps to help you out:

To Find the Wi-Fi Direct Password:

  1. On the printer control panel, tap the Wi-Fi Direct icon (or go to Settings > Wi-Fi Direct).
  2. Tap Settings or the gear icon.
  3. Look for Display Name and Password. The password should be listed there.
  4. If not visible, you can print a Network Configuration Page:
    • Go to Settings > Reports > Network Configuration Page.
    • The Wi-Fi Direct password will be listed under the Wi-Fi Direct section.

If You're Asked for an Administrator Password (EWS or Printer Settings):

If you're trying to access the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) and it's asking for a password:

  • Try using "admin" as the username and leave the password blank.
  • If that doesn’t work, the password may have been set manually. In that case, you may need to restore the printer to factory defaults:

To Restore Network Settings:

  1. On the printer, go to Settings > Restore Network Settings.
  2. Confirm the reset.
  3. Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
