I keep getting problem with printhead error.
is there a software fix for this?
I have had the printer over one year.
I am on instant ink & only use HP ink as you can see from my instant ink account.

i am having the same problem with my hp 6830 - purchased 4/18/15 and just now having issues and it is 8/18/17 just 4 months past the 2 years - no replacement for me -you were lucky. I have to purchase another printer. My luck with HP isn't good - computer lasted 2.5 years also.

I have experienced this same issue. The printer is outside its 12 month warranty (but less than 2 years old) - I raised a case number and contacted the call centre. They basically said that because my printer is out of warranty they can't do anything! I'm extremely annoyed and will be taking up this issue higher up. There's no way that a printer should last less than 2 years and their response is unacceptable.
