Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with Roll back or any other solution?

Yes.  It worked for me. You need to connect yo the printer via USB cable (i.e. does NOT work over WiFi).  The challenge I had was finding the previous firmware version.   One thing I noticed is that you will get promoted afterwards to update the firmware.... probably back to the newest one that forces you to use new HP cartridges.  Be sure not to forget to turn off the 'auto update' feature to prevent the printer from loading the junk firmware.
