Deskjet 3050A
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I uninstalled this printer because I was getting a new one. Now I want to add it again.

I see that it has an ip address in it which does not match my own private network but i set to DHCP it still won't grab an IP address.

Driving me crazy today.

I have gone round and round in circles through HP support

@randelld

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Restore the network settings on the Printer: 1. Press the Wireless button to display the Wireless Menu. 2. From the Wireless Menu, select Settings. 3. From the Settings menu, select Restore Defaults. 4. Confirm selection to restore defaults.

Once done, connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
