It's a pleasure assisting you in finding answers to your technical queries.
I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and Install the drivers, follow the steps below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers

Try to print. If the printer is printing follow the below steps.
Assign Manual IP:
1) Print a Network configuration page from the printer's control panel.
2) Look for IP address from the Network configuration page.
3) Open web browser - Chrome or IE or any other browser that you are using.
4) Type the IP address mentioned on Network configuration page into the browser's address bar or URL bar and press enter button.
5) Go to the Network tab.
6) Click on Networking from the left pane.
7) Then click on Network Address (IP).
😎 Click on Manual IP Address and go to suggest a Manual IP.
9) Scroll down the screen and select Manual DNS server.
10) Enter the Primary and secondary DNS server from the Network Configuration page into the Manual Preferred DNS server field.
11) Click on Apply.

Note: The video is for win 8 but steps are similar for other operating systems as well. You need to enter the IP address in the browser's URL or the address bar to access the printer page.
Create TCP/IP Port:
1. Search Windows for devices, and then select "Devices and Printers" In the list of results.
2. Right-Click the name of your printer, and then select Printer Properties.
3. Click the Ports tab, click on "Add port" select "Standard TCP/IP Port" and click "New Port"
4. Click next on the Add Standard TCP/IP printer port wizard, enter the printer IP address and click next and then click on "OK".
5. Now under the "Ports" tab you will find the Newport with the printer IP address, click "Apply" and "OK".
6. Restart the computer.

-> the HP LaserJet Pro M12a printer is got seen on the Devices and Printers, but with an exclamation mark and a note "Driver Disorder", and the printer did not work/print at all ... and, seemingly it's probably not installed at all completely, as not seen on other places on the system
so, this status is still valid
-> I do still have same problem with my client's two all up-to-date Windows 10 Home 1803 17134.345 machines, but on his Windows 7 Pro SP1 machine the USB-installation is working all well!
-> Object HP EWS is missing!
So, why is it missing on Windows 10, as on Windows 7 it maybe(?) is existing ... and, where to find/get it and got installed, if needed for this?

I read the quick response and thanks for the update. Your terrific resolve and great persistence to try and get to the bottom of things are greatly appreciated. Kudos to you for that. As @Raj1788 is out for the day, I am responding on his behalf.
First, uninstall the printer drivers by following these steps:
- Uninstall the printer from "programs and features" which can be accessed by doing a right-click on the Windows button (Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)
- Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it. (Right click on the Windows button to access device manager)
- Go to devices and printers, in the control panel and select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.
- Click on print server properties.
- You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there if any.
- Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.
- Restart the PC.
- Once the PC is on the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,
- Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.
- It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files).
- If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.
- Ignore the Regedit option if it cannot be done.
- Restart the PC again.
Then create a new local user account as an administrator from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/instantanswers/5de907f1-f8ba-4fd9-a89d-efd23fee918c/create-a-loc...
Log into the new user account after restarting your computer.
- Then download the latest full feature driver from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-laserjet-pro-m11-m13-printer-series/93... from a different computer to a flash drive.
- Later install it on the computer after selecting the correct operating system.
- Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.
- This should fix the issue.
- Then assign a manual IP address and a TCP/IP port as suggested earlier. CHeck for issue resolution.

But, I do still have the same problem with my client's two all up-to-date Windows 10 Home 1803 17134.345 machines, noting that on his Windows 7 Pro SP1 machine the USB-installation has got working all well!
So, please, give some reply/comment on my question regarding this printer's troubleshooting remark -> HP EWS is missing! on these two Windows 10 machines, and the possibility to find/get it from somewhere.
I think it may be a key for this still existing M12a USB-installation problem.

on the Windows 10 compatibility list I found for HP LaserJet Pro these definitions, with footnotes,
-> M12a, HP EasyStart, HP.com, USB
which means, it should be fully compatible, but just for USB, as also only required for my case.
Now, when the HP EWS (Embedded Web Service) is needed for the installing, but missing from the package, how come this is possible! So, please, asap give me instructions, where to get it downloaded and how to got properly installed to these two Windows 10 machines in question, or, in case, maybe what other correcting actions to do!

OK, sorry, after some 10 days and few rounds there on the other department, I was forced to come back in here ...
So, this my case and the actual problem did arise first time at the client's site already on Oct, 9th 2018 and this thread was opened by me on Oct, 18th 2018, and thus the case has now been open and unsolved already 1mo2wks!
And please, also note, I'm very sorry, that up there on the message no 1, I had a very fatal missing word ... i.e. the text should have been -> "After downloading the install package and installing it a few times to both these Windows 10 machines for USB usage, the printer is got seen on the Devices and Printers, but with an exclamation mark and note "Driver Disorder", and it do NOT! work/print ..."
After now doing several times all the long list corrective actions/instructions given up there, and always re-starting and re-trying the re-install with the full driver -> https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-m11-m13-printer-series/9365405/mode... from Nov, 5th 2016 for 64-bit -> hp_LJPM11-M13_Full_Solution-v20160225-10229428-signed.exe (95.4 MB) , I always with these two Windows 10 machines for USB got to the same result -> The printer is got seen on the Devices and Printers, but with an exclamation mark and note "Driver Disorder", and it do NOT! work/print ...
And, further, on the messages no 5 and 7 I have been describing the problem in very detail, incl. the error message obtained from the Printer troubleshooting -> Object HP EWS is missing!
So, why on earth it is missing on Windows 10, but on Windows 7 it probably is existing ... and, where to find/get it and then got it installed, maybe before the printer driver install, when/if needed?
In conclusion, I do still have this problem, and already longer than a month!, with my client's two all up-to-date Windows 10 Home 1803 17134.345 machines, but on his Windows 7 Pro SP1 machine the USB-installation is working all well!
