Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Can try these steps :
1. Do a wireless reset to defaults
This video resource will show how it's done:
2a. Use the app to setup and connect printer to the network again
OR
2b. Use the control panel to connect the printer to the network

3. Try the FW update again
Regarding printing on both sides, check out this resource. (Download HP App for Windows 11 from Microsoft Store.)
