Try these Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, computer, and WiFi router. After a few minutes, restart them to refresh their network settings.

Verify Network Details:

  • Double-check your WiFi network name (SSID) and password. Ensure you're entering them correctly, observing case sensitivity.

Update Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date, as an outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues. You can check for updates via the HP Support website or HP Smart App.

Reconfigure Network Setup:

  • On your printer control panel, access the ‘Network Setup’ or ‘Wireless Setup Wizard’ to go through the process of connecting to your WiFi network again.

Move Printer Closer to Router:

  • Ensure the printer is within range of the WiFi signal. Physical obstructions or distance can affect connectivity.

Check Router Settings:

  • Ensure that your router is configured to broadcast on a compatible frequency (preferably 2.4 GHz) as some devices may not support 5 GHz networks.

Printer and Computer Connection:

  • If needed, use the USB connection to install the printer on your computer via the HP Smart app or HP Easy Start, then transition to wireless setup.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor to automatically detect and resolve printing, scanning, and connectivity issues.

Network Configuration:

  • Ensure there are no network restrictions or MAC filtering settings on your router that would prevent the printer from connecting. steps:
