Hi,
I use Ubuntu 20.04.
I have been trying to print from GIMP 2.10.18 and 2.10.30. With no success: poor quality.
I removed Gimp 2.10.30 and went back to GIMP 2.10.18 using Synaptic Package Manager.
I opted to use the gimp 2.10.18 with gimp-gutenprint 5.3.3-4. print facility within the apt sources.
Since then I cannot print anything from any source from GIMP to PLUMA.
The Ubuntu Document Print Status is 'Processing-Printer error'. In fooling around with the Ubuntu Troubleshooting area the printer will print a test page satisfactorily.
ERROR - 0XB39FF018 shows up once in a while.
My conclusion is that the Printer is physically ok in that it will print a good test page and I have screwed up all the software some way!!!
SO... I need help in removing the printer and all software (CUPS HPLIP ???) and then re-installing same. Hope help is on the way!!
