I am trying to get the software to reload on to my laptop for my hp officejet 4215 all in one device . The software for full functionality was lost when a new hard drive was installed. I was able to restore printing function but the scanner function says I need additional software that I cannot find on the hp site. I have the original installation disk for Windows but it does not seem to load on the Windows 10 platform. The latest platform listed on the disk is XP. Any options I can try

@Will07, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are looking for a printer driver. However, due to the age of the printer, the printer driver is now not available on the HP Support site.
You may install the printer using Windows built-in driver
Refer to this document to know how. Try printing. Use Deskjet 990c driver if your printer is not listed.
Refer to this document HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) for help.
For more info on this issue, refer to this document.
If this does not help, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
