HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e All-in-One Printer
iOS

Hello,
from the HP Smart app, on an iOS device, when configuring an Officejet Pro 9020 series, there is an option to set AirPrint printing remotely on iOS devices.
However, following the instructions proposed by the App, which indicate that you enter “the email address and create a password”, communication with the remote printer is interrupted with the message “the printer is no longer available”.
In any case, since I finished the setup, on my iOS device, when it is not connected to the same network as the Officejet and I try to print from any App, the printer appears as a “remote” AirPrint printer. However, when I try to launch the print, entering the same credentials created during configuration, the print fails with the same error message “the printer is no longer available”.

Additional information: HP+ active; Print Anywhere via HP Smart App works well.
I did a lot of research online and this “AirPrint remote” or “AirPrint anywhere” feature does not appear to be documented.
Does anyone know more?
Thank you very much in advance to those who want to respond or share their experiences.

Hi @Saiph,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

HP has a feature called an e-print using this feature you can print from any part of the world. The printer needs to be connected to the internet and the printer will have its own email address.

You may refer to this document for more details: HP printers - Print with HP ePrint

Also, refer to this document: HP Printers - Print Anywhere with the HP Smart App

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
