I am trying to remove my HP3510 from the app, but can't figure out how. all the search results are for the old "HP Smart" app, not the new"HP" app.

Hi cajflem
Depending on whether you are using the new HP app on your phone or your computer, you can use these steps to remove your HP Deskjet 3510.
Method 1: Directly inside the new HP App (Mobile or Desktop)
Open the HP app and ensure you are on the home dashboard.
Select the printer: Tap or click on your HP 3510 from the main screen to open its specific device page.
Scroll to the very bottom: Bypass all the shortcut tiles (Print, Scan, etc.) and scroll down to the end of the page.
Remove the device: You will see an option that explicitly says Remove Device (or a gear icon for Printer Settings where "Remove Printer" is listed at the bottom).
Select it and confirm the prompt to instantly delete it from your app layout.
Note for Windows users: If it stubbornly keeps reappearing, you can click Select a Different Printer or Recent, click Remove on the right side, and then click the "X" mark on the HP 3510 tile before hitting Done.
Method 2: Use the Web Portal (The Bulletproof Way)
If the app glitches or caches the old printer anyway, the most reliable workaround is to delete it from your cloud profile using a web browser:
Go to hpsmart.com (this remains their cloud management link) and sign in with your HP credentials.
Click the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) and select Printers.
Locate your HP 3510 and click Printer Options underneath it to expand the menu.
Click Remove Printer and confirm.
Once you log out and log back into your mobile/desktop HP app, the printer will be permanently gone. Let me know if the app throws any specific errors while you try to kick it off the list!
I hope the above is helpful
