For my Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdn, I'm unable to remove the administrator password even after a full reset of the machine. I can still access the menu via the IP address.

Note you lose ALL settings you have programmed into the machine.

Thank you for your help! I had seen that video and successfully executed the hard reset past Saturday, and then on Monday the admin password seemed to be back. It’s a previously configured machine that noone remembers who configured it, and we wouldn’t be bothering but the admin password seems to correlate with the scan-to-mail braking, which is why i’m even trying to solve it. Thank you!
