HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

My HP7740 was sent without a printhead. I had to send the defective back before the replacement would ship and removing the printhead wasn't included in the instructions. How do I get a printhead? they're not available for purchase.

Thank you for the help.Getting no where with support and finding that the printhead will cost around $200 we have decided to cut our losses and have obtained a new printer from a different manufacturer.

How unfortunate, usually the instructions are pretty clear about removing all supplies. I would suggest that you follow up with support using the case number you had for the replacement and explain the situation. I have tagged your post as well hoping a moderator can work with you on this issue.
