HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The instructions for inserting ink cartridges show lifting the scanner screen. When I tried this, the left side seems to be attached to something. I don't see any release buttons and am afraid to pull hard and break something. What am I missing?

PS - I am able to insert the ink without lifting the scanner.

Welcome to the HP User Community.

 

True - the video does show lifting the top section.

The top appears to stick a bit and then releases...

It does not say you must lift the top - opening the section does provide more room.
