Request for HP Smart Tank Driver Essentials – L5_1657

I have an HP Smart Tank 520 USB-only printer (Product 1F3W2A) and a MacBook Pro M2 running macOS Sequoia 15.7.8.

The printer is detected over USB, but there is no compatible macOS driver available. HP Easy Start installs successfully but does not install a printer driver.

I have confirmed that the printer is detected by CUPS and USB, but only generic HP LaserJet drivers are available.

HP Community moderators repeatedly recommend HP Smart Tank Driver Essentials – L5_1657 for this exact issue.

Could you please provide the current download link for L5_1657, or email me the installer?

Try to install with the next Apple Smart Tank basic driver:

1) Connect your printer with USB cable:

• 

2) Then install the next software

• >> HP Smart Tank driver essentials - L5_1657

* Click YES   to say thank you,
