Hi everyone,
For safety I put an admin password on my HP Deskjet 3787... I forgot the password and I cannot enter the settings panel. How could I reset the admin password?

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I understand you need support and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:
Are your trying to reset the printer EWS(Embedded web server) password?
Where do you see the password prompt?
Let me know!

Yes, I would like to reset the EWS admin password. It prompts when I am trying to enter the Settings section. I want to restore factory defaults. Here you have some screenshots. On the last one you I have to put a username and a password. Unfortunately, I have neither of them.

Resetting the printer network settings should clear the printer EWS password. In order to reset the printer network settings, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button
at the same time for 5 seconds. Once you reset the printer network settings, connect the printer to you home WiFi and then try to access the printer EWS page.
Let me know how it goes!

You are welcome!
Its unfortunate that those steps didn't clear the EWS password. I've send you a private message with the next course of action. Could you please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

Let's restore the network settings: Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Let me know if this helps.
