Hi @rj86 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are looking for the steps for resetting the Embedded Web Server (EWS) on your HP DeskJet 3700 All-in-One Printer series can help resolve network or connectivity issues. Here are the steps to reset the EWS:

Reset the Network Settings:

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons at the same time until the Power button starts blinking. This will reset the network settings to the factory default.

Access the EWS:

  • After resetting the network settings, connect the printer to your network. You can do this using the HP Smart app or the Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Once the printer is connected to the network, find its IP address. You can usually print a Network Configuration Page from the printer's control panel to find the IP address.

Log into the EWS:

  • Open a web browser on your computer.
  • Type the printer’s IP address into the browser’s address bar and press Enter. This will take you to the EWS page.

Reset the EWS Settings:

  • On the EWS page, navigate to the Network or Settings tab.
  • Look for options related to restoring factory settings or resetting network settings.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the EWS settings.

Restart the Printer:

  • After resetting the EWS settings, restart the printer to apply the changes.

This didn’t work. Once I get to the EWS network settings I get blocked with a message “Sign in to HP deskjet 3700 series. A custom password has been set for your printer. Enter the password to access the printer web interface”

there is no option to reset the password and I can’t set up wifi printing because I get blocked
