Hello,
I think I forgot the password and I don't know how to reset it. I followed this user's guide: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03296578
The problem here is step 2:
- On the printer control panel, press the OK button to display the Home screen.
- Open the Service menu.
opening the service menu still prompts for password, which I don't remember, so i can't access the menu.
Please help me so I can reset the password.

Hi @bros,
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer is requesting an administrator password.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
