Hi,
We are a US military family and therefore move regularly. We have a HP Envy 4525 that I purchased in Germany which took 302 cartridges. We recently moved to South Korea and the cartridges we were told to buy here are HP 63. I installed the new cartridges and printer gives the error that the cartridge's are incompatible.
How can we reset the region for the printer?
PS: I've spent over two hours on the HP site going round and round in circles on the website and AI assistant so pretty frustrated.
Cheers,
Penny

Hi @PennyUSA,
I'd like to help!
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi,
Thanks for your message.
I tried the suggested method a number of times, redownloaded software three times.
Unfortunately I couldn't get the Change Region box to initiate.
Are there any other options for fixing this issue or does the printer go out the window.
Kind regards,
Penny
