Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon. You need to connect to a new Waf-Fi network. This requires the printer's user password. But no one remembers him. How to reset this password? Or reset the printer to factory settings?

Hi @zzuka,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the password for HP Neverstop Laser 1000W Embedded Web Server (EWS), you can follow these steps.

  1. Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the printer.
  2. Enter the printer's IP address in the address bar of the web browser. You can find the IP address by printing a network configuration page from the printer.
  3. The EWS page for the printer should load. If you are prompted for a username and password, enter the default credentials. The default username is usually "admin," and the default password is usually "admin" or left blank. If these credentials don't work, you may need to consult the printer's manual for the correct default login information.
  4. Once logged in, look for the "Settings" or "Security" tab within the EWS.
  5. Within the settings, locate the option for changing the password. It may be called "Change Password" or "Reset Password."
  6. Click on the password change option and enter the new password you desire. Make sure to choose a strong, secure password.
  7. Save the changes and exit the EWS.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
